Finding Inspiration in Difficult Times

My name is Meg Grimm and I am the owner of Pixie Dust Traveling Boutique. I am a licensed cosmetologist with a background in Child Education. I worked as a Lead Preschool Teacher for years and most recently, was a part time substitute teacher at a local Charter School. I started this business in 2021 when I found myself out of work during the pandemic. Due to my daughter's congenital heart defect, my pediatrician strongly recommended removing her from a daycare setting as we were unsure of the effects that covid may have on a child with her condition. Being a stay at home mom gave me time to plan, prepare, and start my business. Thus, Pixie Dust Traveling Boutique was born.

During the years I have been in operation, I have worked vigorously on building a good reputation within the WNY community. I have had the pleasure of working alongside other Buffalo based companies and more recently started volunteering some of my services for special events and benefits in the hope of brightening the lives of children and giving back to the WNY community that has helped us grow. We have volunteered services at local school events, benefits, and are currently volunteering at Oishei Children's Hospital. Pixie Dust Traveling Boutique is affiliated with Bills Babes and has helped the organization raise thousands of dollars for Charitable Organizations including PUNT. I currently hold five star reviews across the board on Google, and in September 2023, Pixie Dust Traveling Boutique was recognized and offered accreditation from the Better Business Bureau.

I love this business and all the joy it brings to others. I am truly blessed to be able to combine my love for children, and the cosmetology field and use it to help support my family.
